1. Overview

SwipePix is an iOS photo gallery cleaner designed to help you quickly declutter your device. Our core features – Swipe Clean and Collage Clean – let you review and delete photos with intuitive gestures. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we access, how we process it, and what we never do with it.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or photo content to our servers or any third party.

The only data we may collect anonymously are:

Basic device usage statistics (e.g., app launch count, feature usage) via Apple's built‑in analytics, without any identifier linking back to you.
Crash logs provided by Apple, which contain no personal content.

All such data is aggregated and never used to identify individuals.

3. Information Processed on Your Device

All photo analysis (size, date, duplicates, similar images) and all cleaning decisions (swipe to delete, collage selection) happen entirely on your iOS device.

No image, video, or metadata is uploaded to any server.
No external AI or cloud service processes your media.
The app only reads photo metadata and thumbnails (with your explicit permission) to present them for your review.

4. Smart Suggestions & Local Categorization

To make cleaning more efficient, SwipePix automatically organizes your photos into local smart categories such as Screenshots, Burst shots, Similar images, Blurry photos, and Videos.

All categorization and grouping logic runs entirely on your device.
No photo, thumbnail, or analysis result is ever sent to the cloud or any external service.
These suggestions are generated only when you open the cleaning interface and are discarded from temporary memory once you leave the session.
You are always in full control – the app never deletes anything without your explicit swipe or tap confirmation.

5. Permissions

To provide its core cleaning functions, SwipePix requires access to your photo library. This permission is clearly prompted when you first launch the app and attempt to scan your gallery.

Photos (Read & Write) is the only permission SwipePix requires. It is essential for scanning your gallery, displaying photos for your review, performing smart categorization (such as screenshots, duplicates, and blurry images), and executing delete or move operations. Without this permission, the app cannot function.

You may revoke or change this permission at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Photos. Please note that revoking Photos permission will disable the app's core features and prevent it from working properly.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not collect any data on our servers, we retain nothing outside your device.

All analysis caches, smart category indexes, and temporary previews are deleted from local storage immediately after you close the cleaning session or within 24 hours. No historical scanning records are kept beyond your current session.

7. Data Security

We rely on iOS's built‑in sandbox and file encryption. All local processing happens in an isolated environment. As no data leaves your device, there is no risk of network interception of your personal media.

8. Children's Privacy

SwipePix is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect any data from minors. If you are a parent and believe your child has used the app, please contact us – since we store nothing on our servers, no action is needed to delete remote data.

9. Your Rights

Because we do not hold your personal data on any remote system, your rights are fully exercised locally:

Access/Review – you see all your photos directly in the app.
Deletion – you delete photos permanently via the app or the iOS Photos app.
Categorization control – smart suggestions are only temporary; you can ignore or dismiss them at any time.
